|   THE VISION

After a long season of deliberate thought, study, analysis and prayer, we are stepping out forward in faith with the launch of the Equipping for Tomorrow Campaign.

This campaign will meet the critical need of campus development through the completion of the Upper School, a Multi Purpose classroom space, and eventually an auxiliary gymnasium.

We look forward to what is next at McKinney Christian Academy!

At McKinney Christian Academy, we seek to honor Christ by partnering with families to equip students academically, to prepare them to think Biblically and inspire them to live boldly for Christ.

As we pursue this vision, the Board of Trustees and leadership of McKinney Christian Academy has thoughtfully designed a full campus master plan that meets the deepened needs of our students’ academic, spiritual, athletic and creative needs.

After a long season of deliberate thought, study, analysis and prayer, we are stepping out forward in faith with the launch of the Equipping for Tomorrow Campaign. This campaign will meet the critical need of campus development and expansion through the addition of the upper school building, Multi Purpose classroom space, and an auxiliary gymnasium.

We look forward to what is next at McKinney Christian Academy!

The Equipping for Tomorrow is an $11 million dollar campaign focused on the construction of two buildings at the very center of campus.

  • The completion of the Upper School Academic Building that will house 9 classrooms.
  • A specially designed Multi-Purpose Building that offers a total of 4500 square feet including FLEX space that may be utilized for lower school lunches, clubs, competitions, and other school-wide needs.

It's more than just buildings: New academic programs and resources Pk-12th grade

The completion of the Upper School Academic Building will provide the following:

  • 9 classrooms in the Upper School allowing for a deepening of resources for our students, including: pre-medical, pre-business, aviation, and other key programs to provide a competitive experience for our upper school students.
  • 3 classrooms in Middle School allowing for an expansion of the Library and Foreign Language options.
  • 2 classrooms in the Lower School allowing for increased space for our Lower School enrichment and resource classes

A Multipurpose Building with much needed FLEX Space for our school.

  • This multipurpose building will provide 4500 square feet of open space for lower school lunches, clubs, competitions, and other school-wide needs and to relieve the burden of programming in the SLC.
  • The multipurpose building is storm graded and will also serve as a storm shelter, housing nearly 600 students in the event of tornado or other extreme weather event.

  Gymnasium

  • The addition of a second gymnasium provides the much-needed functional space of a gym.
  • The Lower School will utilize the space for its Physical Education program, and the Middle School sports teams can hold practice and games.
  • MCA will also utilize this space as a quality event center; the community will benefit through renting space when it’s not being used by MCA.
